Cephas and I have discussed ways to give back funds that we either earn or raise for our ministerial foundation. We have decided on several very important projects which I'll mention now. Every year a rainbow gathering is held on national forests land and thousands of people attend these events. Water is the most crucial element for a safe and healthy event.
Since these gatherings take place on public lands that are usually located high in the mountains and deep in the forests, live water is the only viable source. Filters help to eliminate the possibility of sickness and disease. This year, we will be donating to a couple people who make those life lines possible to each of the main kitchens at the gatherings. They need filters desperately, so if you want to donate to a good cause, give to this and help us provide as many filters as they will need.
The starting goal is ten filters. Cephas and I will be donating a percentage of all our earnings to the Angels for Gabriel Foundation which, in turn, will be donating 50% of all funds raised until the goal of ten filters is met. The other 50% will go to another campaign which I'll describe in the next post on fund raisers.

Hey I just found this site. I assume from you post you know who I am.
The main filters we need are Katadyn 1040 filters. They used to cost $60 a piece but for the last two years they have gotten very hard to find and are $200 a piece. Any you can bring would be most welcome. Also needed are Katadyn Expedition rebuilt kits for the pumps or more Expedetion filters.
If your really able to donate 10 filters it would be amazing and a major part of our budget so it would be helpful to know early so I can send other funds to other water projects such as pipe and spring taps.

Hi Hawker,
Thanks for the feedback. Let us work on this and talk to all our friends. We'll see in the next two weeks how many we can purchase. Meanwhile, I'm going to launch a full blown campaign with funds coming to your links and ours. When you get donations because of our foundation, send me a confirmation email so we can keep the books on it and buy whatever is needed. I have lots of friends outside rainbow also who are looking for causes to support. I'm going on Facebook, Myspace and Twitter with this as well as my blogs. Personally, we want to buy one filter out of our funds. The rest will be raised through our ministry. How's it going this year? Did Badger come to visit you?
