I started this blog as a tribute to a little boy and I keep it running as a not for profit ministry. We raise funds for people in need or families with children who have terminal illnesses. It's also dedicated to help pay funeral expenses so every thing we do is to support that work. Well, I learned one thing really fast. Even a not for profit blog can use a little help from an seo company because if you don't have an audience then who will read what you have to say? It's vital to get the word out no matter what you do or why you write.

Our Angels Foundation considered moving to the City of Angels
Posted by TheMidnightWriter at Sunday, May 16, 2010A couple months ago, my husband and I seriously considered relocating to the big city of LA to finish some work involving a major writing project. The decision is still pending based upon a writing project and the possibility of attending spiritual classes. The perfect help if we take this journey are professional Los Angeles Movers to handle the heavy work involved in such a big move. I'd love to learn the secrets of people who can move without any stress and manage to get the task done with total organization. If I could make the easy transfer the way Movers Los Angeles packs and loads the furniture and boxes, I would be a professional mover. But I'm not so I'll leave the hefty work to them and just work on planning my move. We have a tough decision to make in the first place but it will happen once we finish our summer travels. Our first step will be to find an affordable apartment close to the spiritual academy then we'll call the LA Movers and start a new adventure.

Launching Fund Raising Campaign for Rainbow Gathering
Posted by TheMidnightWriter at Sunday, May 16, 2010Water filters are desperately needed for the rainbow gathering this year. Spring council starts in early June and as soon as a site is selected, which usually happens around June 10-15, water lines and filters need to be put into place. Cephas and I are working through our channels to help manifest the much needed money to purchase the goal of ten filters at $200 each. We need to raise $2,000 in less than a month so this is a push. Please circulate this far and wide. Read the original post and the attached comments for more information from Hawker.
Please send all donations to angels4gabriel@gmail.com through PayPal. If you would like to make donations another way, we can accept the Green Dot Pay Pal Money Paks which can be purchased at WalMart's and most major grocery stores. Mailing instructions will be posted shortly but in the meantime, email themidnightwriter1@gmail.com or DM me on Twitter @midnightwriter1 or @angels4gabriel. Contact me through facebook as themidnightwriter. You can text through the chat system or send a personal message on Facebook. Complete instructions will be outlined on the next update post and a group will be created on Facebook.
Thank you in advance for your love and contributions to the health and safety of thousands who will gather to pray for peace July 1-7 in the eastern mountains of the United States. The location will be announced after the spring council chooses a site. We'll announce that on our blog when that decision is made.
God bless you and thanks again. Please share this with everyone that you know. It is an urgent need.

The Elderly need Adequate Health Insurance Coverage
Posted by TheMidnightWriter at Tuesday, April 06, 2010Elderly people in retirement face many challenges in their lives and health care is one that affects them greatly. Most retired people have some type of insurance such as Medicare but it usually is not enough to cover added medical expenses incurred by a sudden illness. That's where medicare supplements are useful because these private insurance supplements like AARP will pay the costs that are not covered by the state subsidized by Medicare.
My parents had a tough time paying for my mother's illness because she suffered with leukemia for two years. Her treatments were not covered by the Medicare coverage so she turned to using alternative supplemental insurance and special health grants from private foundations. My parents had to pay a deductible before the supplemental coverage would pick up the tab. It helped them a lot though because they relied on this extra help after they consolidated all their debts and took out special loans for her treatments.
I was happy to see the extra savings in every day life that came with AARP and other Senior discounts or incentive programs through private insurance. I would recommend that every one check out the possible insurance programs that will be able to handle those unexpected medical expenses after retirement.

We Send our Prayers to the Mexicali Earthquake Victims
Posted by TheMidnightWriter at Tuesday, April 06, 2010
A 7.2 major earthquake struck Mexicali about 30 miles from Baja, California on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010. It's shaking was felt all the way to San Diego, California to the west and as far east as Phoenix, Arizona. Damage was widespread but minimal for a quake of its size, depth and power. Thank God for His loving mercy. Many people suffered damage to their homes and some people lost their lives. Our prayers go out to all who were touched or affected by this earthquake.
According to the latest report, two people died in Easter's quake and damage to structures occurred on both sides of the Mexico/America border. Buildings reportedly shook from San Diego to Las Vegas, Nevada. People in Phoenix, Arizona tweeted that they felt the shaking, too. A separate quake struck San Diego that was about a 6 on the rhicter scale. This earthquake was greater in magnitude than the one in Chile, but it caused less damage and very little loss of life compared to potential disaster it could have wreaked. It is summised that the depth, location and rural areas close to the epicenter reduced the size of this tragedy.
A geologist gives a lucid explanation of this earthquake based upon information available at this time. Studies are being conducted to determine which fault triggered this quake since the region in question is the center for a cluster of faults that merge. Here is the video if you want to know what seismologists/geologists are saying.

Prepare for the Summer Travel Season with Repair Pal
Posted by TheMidnightWriter at Tuesday, March 30, 2010This summer season looks like it will be a busy one for travelers already even with the inclement spring weather. But the weather is a good reason to make preparations for break downs, accidents and other auto emergencies that could happen. I've learned from extensive travel that it is far better to be prepared than to not be prepared.
I used to own a Toyota Corolla that I drove three thousand miles across country. If I had known about Repair Pal and its handy listings of auto repair shops or towing service garages, I would have saved lots of time and money. My oil seal leaked leaving my car completely dry with a mountain to climb and no civilization for sixty miles. If I had owned a handy little iPhone I would have used it to access the internet where dozens of local listings would have gotten me quickly out of a bind with a phone call. Instead, I rigged the problem with a stranger's help and drove my Toyota in its broken condition sixty miles to civilization.
Don't let this happen to you.
Bookmark this massive auto repair site that has listings all around the country. For example, if you are planning a trip to Chicago and wonder what's available, type in the search box Chicago auto repair. An extensive list will appear with pages of choices. All you'll have to do is scan the listings for particular services, vehicle make and model or to find out if new part replacements are performed in the city where you plan to travel. I always check for tire shops and brake specialists in advance of a long trip because they are common problems.
Some repairs can be done yourself but there are more extensive repairs like replacing a water pump that either requires detailed instructions or expert help from a mechanic. Don't worry, this information is provided on the website, too. Again, just type in the search box what particular repair you want to make and the part needed. An instruction page will guide you through the task of repairing your auto on the roadside or at home in the comfort of your garage or driveway, if you are lucky.
I hope you enjoy Repair Pal and all the convenience it offers. I call them my auto repair angels. I love the convenience. Who wouldn't like to be better prepared while traveling?

Tornadoes Tear up 150 Miles in North Carolina
Posted by TheMidnightWriter at Tuesday, March 30, 2010I'm asking every one who reads this to pray for the people in North Carolina who suffered losses, injury or property damages during the recent severe destructive tornadoes. I don't know if any deaths were reported but I did read that damage to homes was severe. Some houses were either sheared apart or completely destroyed while others were badly damaged.
